Shaheen has been tipped for the top and interest is growing in America after his appearance at the late Michael Jackson funeral. Jackson has always been an idol of Shaheen so I can imagine it was a very emotional moment for him to perform.

After Britain’s Got Talent, Shaheen went on to appear on Larry King Live and The Oprah Winfrey Show.

On his official website he says “Having received praise from the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Ellen DeGeneres and Mo-town Records founder Berry Gordy, Shaheen has recorded a sensational debut album due for release this autumn.”

Great news indeed :)

Shaheen Jafargholi – Stevie Wonder said ‘I was amazing’

Shaheen Jafargholi has revealed that Stevie Wonder complimented him after Michael Jackson’s tribute show on Tuesday night.

The Britain’s Got Talent star sang ‘Who’s Lovin’ You’ at the memorial, the song he previously performed to pass the first televised audition of the reality talent show.

Jafargholi told The Sun: “Stevie Wonder was really nice. I was in his dressing room for ages playing games and messing around.

“I was introduced to him and he could have just said hello, but he was so nice to me. He told me I had an amazing voice. It was amazing.”

Of his performance, he continued: “I was quite nervous. [Jackson] was lying there in front of me, his family were there. I had to do him proud. I was there because he was a fan of mine so I had to be on top form.

“It was really tough, but I got to say goodbye and pay my respects in a way that no other person could.”

Jafargholi added: “He will always be a legend and he touched so many people’s lives. Nobody will ever fill his footsteps.

“I’ve got a few meetings this week. I want to do what Michael Jackson did and touch people with my music. Work hard and you never know.”

yesterday was not only very moving but to many it was full of surprises, one being Britain`s Got Talent contestant  Shaheen Jafargholi and his amazing  performance  covering the Jackson Five hit “Who’s Lovin You.”

Shaheen’s performance was truly amazing and received a great standing ovation.

Kenny Ortega said, “Shaheen was invited by Michael to join him in his London shows so I just wanted to introduce him to everybody and to say thank you.”

We have a feeling that the young star is really going to make it big.

Everybody has been talking about Susan Boyle, but since Shaheen’s outstanding cover of one of the Jackson’s five hits yesterday, all talk of Boyle seems to be have shifted.

Simon Cowell insists Britain’s Got Talent acts are a surprise

Piers Morgan has said that Britain’s Got Talent judges are not given any prior information about auditionees on the show.

During the last series, critics had suggested that some elements of the programme had been scripted or pre-planned, a claim denied by contestants and producers.

Morgan told The Futon Critic: “Simon Cowell, the creator of the Got Talent format, he’s absolutely adamant we should never have any warning from the producers about what is going to come on stage in terms of their ability because, you know, sometimes we might get told their name and that’s about it.

“What Simon believes and I think he’s absolutely right is that if you have prior warning that someone’s going to be great then you don’t act surprised. I mean, why would you, you know?”

He added: “If we knew Susan Boyle had a voice like an angel we wouldn’t have been pulling all those faces and being rather condescending towards her.

“We would have been thinking, well let’s give her a couple of seconds to sing and then we’ll all know she’s great.”

Disney speaks to Simon Cowell about Shaheen

Disney want Shaheen Jafargholi ?

Disney want Shaheen Jafargholi ?

Disney executives have reportedly expressed an interest in signing up Britain’s Got Talent finalist Shaheen Jafargholi.

According to The Sun, the company has contacted Simon Cowell about the possibility of giving the 12-year-old singer from South Wales a film career.

Cowell is said to be “keen in principle” about the prospect.

A source said: “Disney have been watching Shaheen. They are looking at potential movie roles that will make him an international superstar.

“It just shows the level of talent this year that one of the world’s biggest film companies wants to sign him when he did not even make the top three. And Disney really know how to create superstars.”

Welsh singing icon Tom Jones recently suggested that Jafargholi could benefit from more experience before signing a record contract.
